I am from and live in Richmond, Va. Great place to live, 2 hours from the beach and 2 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains. I work in Downtown Richmond and sit in a cubicle that has a door that I love to refer to as a box with the lid open. However, my saving grace is looking out the window of the office in front of me and gazing at the rolling rapids of the James River. I frequent the river nearly every day, walking the "Canal Walk", taking off my high heel shoes to tip toe across the rocks and sit in the sun for a mere 30 minutes or so before going back in the "box". Not so bad really, as while I'm in the "box", I have my most treasured Patty Loveless CDs to get me through my work day and everything in between.

I've been a Loveless fan, I say, since the beginning. The first time I heard Patty on the radio I was traveling to Smith Mountain Lake for a week with my in-laws, what was I thinking? Anyhow, I was revived back to my senses when this wondrous songbird came on the radio. On the road, I had been going from station to station, through the mountains and couldn't find anything that would come in clear, until this beautiful voice came beaming out the speakers. The song was "I Did" and I was so intent on finding out who this songbird was I cleared out the glovebox, my purse, struggling for pen and paper to write down her name and that is when I was introduced to the queen of mountain soul, Patty Loveless. Upon returning home, I immediately went out and bought the record and have been a fan since that first chord of I Did played on my radio. I love country music, southern rock, classic rock, a little pop and a lot of the time my grass is blue. In my younger years, I would not miss a bluegrass festival, Virginia has many festivals around.

I have two great kids, one hippie husband and two psycho dogs, Banjoe and Angus. A pit bull and shih-tzu who think they are brothers and think they own the house. They do.

-Favorite part of your job? Not sure I have a favorite, oh, I know, my lunch hour.

-What is the greatest piece of advice you've been given? -Stay true to your heart and love and treat others the way you want to be loved and treated.

-Play an instrument? Unfortunately not, I have a mandolin at home that collects dust.

-In a band? Nope, would love to be, just missing one simple little thing called "talent".

-Favorite musician? Too many to mention, love Keith Urban, Vince Gill and Brad Paisley. Patty Loveless' band is the bomb!
