...Patty was the 2nd Woman in Country Music History to win "Album of the Year" honors at the CMA Awards in 1995 when "When Fallen Angels Fly" was awarded.

...Patty & her husband Emory are the only couple in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Emory was inducted in 1992, Patty in 2005.

...Patty was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by old friend Porter Wagoner.
