If you happened to be in the Nashville area for Patty's drive4copd pit stop yesterday, you may have caught her appearance on Tennessee Mornings before hand. She stopped by for a short segment to explain a little bit about the COPD campaign, and help promote the Opry Mills Pit Stop.

If you missed it, they now have the segment up on their website, so you can watch here!

And, as another reminder..... Patty hit the 5,000 mark tonight on drive4copd. Please, Please, Please go get screened if you haven't already, and help her win the race to find the missing millions that are at risk for COPD and don't know it! It only takes a moment to do, and is only 5 questions. If you've already taken it, send the link to everyone you can to encourage them to take the screener as well!

We braved the icy roads this morning to see our girl at Opry Mills, for her Drive4COPD pit stop. Some of the COPD Foundation folks were on hand to discuss COPD, and then Patty discussed her involvement in it, before sitting down to sign autographs and take photos with everyone.

We had some PLN'ers make it out to Atlanta today to see her at the Lenox Square pit stop, and we hope to have some photos from that up soon. I'll be heading out to Opry Mills bright and early tomorrow morning for the Nashville stop, so we should have photos up from that as well shortly!

Fans are often entertained before they are thrilled with their favorite sport and motorsport. Mini concerts are popular before the first ball is kicked or tossed and before the first engine cranks up too.

Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway consists of two weeks of racing that includes the ever popular Daytona 500. Various bands keep waiting fans tapping and humming to drums and guitars.

The final two days of Speedweeks DIS hosted the Nationwide race Drive4COPD 300 and the Daytona 500.

Country Music recording stars Patty Loveless and Tim McGraw headlined the first races of 2010. Loveless soothed the Nationwide crowd with sweet music and Tim McGraw rocked the Sprint Cup ticket holders.

Reporter Dwight Drum asked both stars about their work.

Patty Loveless is one of the four stars, Michael Strahan, Jim Belushi and Bruce Jenner who will drive 6000 miles for DRIVE4COPD, a campaign to increase awareness about lung diseases.
