A first single has been released from Bobby Osborne’s upcoming 60th Anniversary album on Rural Rhythm, Memories: Celebrating Bobby’s 60th Anniversary as a Professional Entertainer. The project will be a mix of newly recorded material and classic tracks from Osborne’s six decades in the biz.
The single is Bring Back Yesterday, recorded with Bobby’s touring band, The Rocky Top X-Press, which recalls the style and arrangement of the hey day of The Osborne Brothers in the 1960s.
Memories will contain 14 tracks, with Osborne hits like Ruby, Rocky Top, With A Pain In My Heart and Up This Hill And Down. Guest artists performing with Bobby on this CD include Russell Moore, Sammy Shelor, Ronnie McCoury, David Grisman, Patty Loveless, Audie Blaylock and more.
A release date has not yet been announced.
